DIY Cleansing Wipes

A simple recipe that takes minutes to make and feels amazing on your skin.

I've been tinkering around with DIY recipes for years now making everything from my own deodorant to make-up remover but something always held me back from making DIY wipes. I have no idea why it took me so long to make these everyday essentials but now that I have I will never look back. These are so easy to make and feel absolutely amazing on my skin. Completely toxin free they are supporting my body rather than adding to the work that it already does to keep me healthy.

What You'll Need

Watertight container

Kitchen roll

Serated knife

Fractionated Coconut Oil

Warm Water

Essential Oils (I use only the best quality oils find out more here)

Directions

  1. Cut the kitchen roll in half so it looks like two toilet rolls. You'll use one now and you can either save the other one or use it to make DIY Antibacterial Wipes. I've got that recipe for you too!
  2. In a jug add a cup of warm water, 2 tablespoons of Fractionated Coconut Oil and your essential oils. I used oils that support my skin for this recipe. Lavender, Tea Tree, Patchouli, Clary Sage, Frankincense, and Geranium are all great choices. Please make sure to use great quality oils I can't stress this enough.
  3. Place the roll of kitchen roll into your watertight container.
  4. Pour your liquid over the roll and seal the container.
  5. Leave for a few minutes to soak up the liquid before turning upside down for another few minutes.
  6. Remove the cardboard insert and you're good to go!
  7. Remove wipes from the centre of the roll.

Remember these wipes are for your skin! Choose oils that will benefit your skin and won't sting. You can learn more about essential oils in my communities.
