For entrepreneurs there seems to be two major beliefs when it comes to multiple streams of income - putting all your eggs in one basket and focusing on ONE stream of income versus having multiple streams of income.

The path you choose will really depend on how much time, finances and energy you can dedicate to your business.

Starting a business takes a huge amount of resources in terms of time, money and energy. The first few years will tell a lot about your business and where it's going in the future. If you can't dedicate yourself to getting it off the ground then it's bound to fail. If you are short on time, short on finances and/or short on energy then you may want to consider focusing on one business until it's running well without so much input from you.

Focusing on one business means you can learn all you need to learn about that business before jumping into another. There's so much to business - marketing, digital marketing, networking, managing finances, managing staff, stock and time, and on and on. It really is like having a child that needs constant attention.

Some people are very good at juggling and can keep many things going at once. If you have experience in business or you have plenty of resources to throw at it then it's much easier to grow more than one business at the same time. Once you have systems in place, daily habits in each business, you'll get into the flow and income will start coming in. You'll probably have hire power so you can bring on VA's or other team members to help you manage your businesses.

The key thing no matter which you choose is to make sure you are passionate about your business. Find something you LOVE and do that. Don't try to sell makeup if you hate makeup. Stay away from bitcoin if finances aren't your thing. Don't become an influencer if you hate social media. You get my drift.

When I decided I wanted to leave my teaching career I knew I wanted to help people. I could see so many like me struggling in jobs that weren't working for them any longer. They ended up in careers that they didn't love. They realised when they had kids that they wanted to be at home with them. Whatever the reason, there is a huge lack of education in schools to help people make these shifts throughout their lives. We are prepared for one path and that's it. What happens when that path isn't the right one any longer? I believe this is why we see mid-life crises and even suicide in a lot of middle aged people. When the cracks appear we don't know what to do.

That's why part of my coaching focuses on helping people find their passions. On my own journey I've learned so much about natural wellness, yoga, sales, digital marketing, bitcoin and of course coaching that I am full of ideas for people struggling. If that's you I'm here to help. Don't struggle alone reach out to me and book a free Breakthrough Session.
